This is always a touchy topic for any female who is trying to grow her hair but just can't seen to get it done.
As I am still transitioning these are the steps that are currently working for me:
- No blow-driers -yep I air fry my hair always even now in the winter (brrrrr) I still leave it to mother nature to take care of.
- No flat-irons or curling irons- once again trying to prevent the heat as it burns hairs and leaves it smelling and looking damaged
- For those of you with the afro, I do not comb my hair for 2-4 days. Don't take this the wrong way, I only mean that I wear an afro without placing a comb into it just to allow my hair growth without interruptions.
- Jamaican Black Castor Oil- yep yep, this helps hair to be shiny and thick
- Just braid your hair and leave it for a week or more. Have you ever noticed that's how people grow dreadlocks, the hair is twisted and then left for a while to grow then the new growth is twisted and the process goes on. Well how about just braiding your hair and once it's fresh for another week or so rock that hairstyle.....it gives your hair time to grow.
